Thank you for your interest in our school!
The first step in exploring our program is to take a tour.
Enrollment:
Tours are in-person! If you would like a summertime tour of Holy Shepherd Community Preschool, please email hspreschoolorinda@gmail.com and we will be glad to schedule a day/time that works for you. Our regular monthly tours will resume in the fall. For a fall tour, please click here to sign up for a campus visit. We will use the contact information you provide to send tour reminders closer to the date.
You may complete the online application to our preschool and submit the non-refundable $75 application fee only after you have been on a tour. The tour process is a prerequisite for all prospective families, and you will receive the password for the application post-tour. Please tour or speak with director Claire Peterson before you submit your application and fee.
To help manage numbers and make our tour a safe and positive experience for everyone, we ask that adults only attend the tour (babies in carriers are fine). Please plan accordingly. We offer adult-oriented, informative tours so that parents can determine if the philosophy, routine, and structure of our school is a fit for their family. Once a family is offered a spot in our program, then we give them an opportunity to bring their child in for a visit during school hours, when the program is in session and there is special time for a teacher “meet & greet.”
Upon receipt of your application and fee, your child will be placed on our waiting list for their desired schedule and start date*. Currently, children are eligible to start when they turn two years old. Mid-year starts for new two-year olds are occasionally allowed with full payment of tuition prior to enrollment in order to hold the spot.
You will be notified via email when a spot becomes available for your child, and you will have 3 business days to accept or decline the offer.
*Waitlist priority is as follows: siblings of enrolled students, church members, alumni families, general public (in order of timestamp on receipt of application and fee).
Holy Shepherd Community Preschool reserves the right to change tuition amounts annually. Families are responsible for the current tuition rate for the year/s they attend.
Once you have a confirmed spot at Holy Shepherd Community Preschool, you will be sent a handbook and contract via email, and a link to our online billing and communication platform: Brightwheel.
